Part of the Fragment of Mnemonic Marvels series, Time is a soft sculpture that speaks of the interrelation between life and death. It aims to illustrate the precious yet elusive qualities of life cycles with the idea of quantification and continuity. (1/1)

To preserve the work overtime, we suggest protecting it with a plexiglass box. These can be installed on the wall or in the form of a bell dome, protecting the artwork (see photos and purchase options). The white cedar base boxes and veneered risers are made locally. The boxes can be mounted on a wall (option 1) or on flat surfaces (option 2).

Fragments of Mnemonic Marvels is a series of artworks containing several fiber treatments and a multidisciplinary digital audio-visual artwork (2:30). The collection aims to explore the idea of memory-induced creation propelled by the senses. The interdisciplinary approach builds upon immersion as a state that informs our modes of mnemonic accessibility, transmission, and transformation (synesthesia).
