This series is based on photographs of women treated for hysteria in the 19th century. Their heads thrown back, a symptom of an hysterical fit, become somatic landscapes, questioning medical and social definitions of madness. These drawings were presented as part of the exhibition Petits tracas et autres délices at Hangar 7826 (Montreal, 2023).
