This photograph stems from the intuitive gathering of agricultural residues gleaned from a neighboring farm’s compost. Frozen inside a bowl found in the studio, these crop remnants form an ice disc whose slow melting I photograph under the heat of a greenhouse. By sealing the decaying plant matter, the ice—followed by the lens—creates a space of care
where wilting is welcomed with gentleness. By suspending the organic cycle, the work reveals a poetic and serene presence, inviting us to feel the living where possibilities have not yet set into predefined paths.
