The Race stages a greyhound race observed by bettors eager for victory. The dogs’ bodies are beautiful, precise, and high-performing—shaped to run fast, to please, and to meet expectations.
The dogs themselves seem to hesitate between play and escape, engaged in a competition whose stakes they do not grasp. The work draws a parallel with contemporary societies, where the pressure of excellence and performance drives everyone into a race with no finish line and no true rest.
