This work is inspired by the story of a participant in workshops run by Les Impatients, who recounted being comforted by her cat, amused by the traces of mascara left in its white fur.
Through this intimate scene, the artist evokes the unique power of animals to soothe what escapes the logic of our societies. The cat seems almost to levitate, its fur flowing like a living material, giving the figure a near-sacred presence. The work celebrates the strength of interspecies love—awkward and fragile, yet profoundly pure and comforting.
