This painting draws inspiration from medieval tapestries, incorporating stylized motifs of trees and flowers that evoke a symbolic, timeless landscape. At the center of the composition stands a solitary figure in a long dress, whose posture and expression convey vulnerability and introspection. The figure’s tears take the form of eyes, transforming grief into a state of heightened awareness, observation, and inner vision.

The dress is imprinted with two female faces, suggesting a dual presence that exists both within and beyond the central figure. Rather than a crowd, these faces evoke an intimate lineage or internal dialogue. Figures of memory, inheritance, or mirrored identity. They blur the boundary between self and other, emphasizing how personal emotion is shaped through relationships, transmission, and feminine continuity.
