Created in the summer of 2024. Acting as a primary caregiver for her grandfather during what would become his final summer, the artist lived with him until his passing. In front of his house, a field of wild strawberries grew. She was often reminded to watch her step to avoid crushing them—but there were so many. This inspired the thought that it might be easier to have hands instead of feet, to gather the berries while moving forward. The notion of care naturally emerged from this reflection.
