This painting was inspired by a personal experience lived by the artist. While walking up Ridgewood Avenue in winter, she encountered nearly a hundred crows scattered across several trees. Their loud calls created an unsettling atmosphere, charged with tension and foreboding. Struck by the scene, the artist took a photograph that later served as the basis for this work.
