Colombian visual artist with an MFA from the National University of Colombia. Throughout her professional career, she has played the role of artist and teacher in Colombia.

She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Colombian spaces such as Md15 Medellín, Banco de la República Casa Republicana, ArtBO Fair, La Galería, Lugar a Dudas, Museo Centenario de Norte de Santander, as well as national and regional fairs. He has also participated in group shows in Rosario (Argentina), Madrid (Spain), Washington (USA) and Havana (Cuba).

Throughout his artistic career, he has received various distinctions, including a residency at the Ministry of Culture in Banff (Canada) and another at the MACRO Museum in Rosario (Argentina). He has also received awards, including a commendation for his master’s thesis and a scholarship from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University.

His installations, sculptures and photographs are a reflection on landscape and the meanings of territory, establishing new links between the political power of the term and the multiplicity of facets it has acquired as a function of its context. He also takes a plastic and symbolic interest in the materials he uses and the poetic relationships that emerge from them. He currently lives in Montreal.
