My research approaches conflict relationships between humans, nature elements, and technologies by looking into the past, present, and future. From politics, psychology, biotechnology, theories on postcolonialism, and on decolonization of nature, I propose a critical gaze on domination relationships. Pursuing an ecofeminist approach in a narrative form tinted with dark humor, I multiply the points of view, avoiding a dominant position in order to invite dialogues.
For each of my projects, I propose an environment where I try to tell in fragments or in a set, the pervert's effects of anthropocentrism. Inspired by ecofeminism using a plurality of points of view to equilibrate the power of the gaze, I combine empathy with narrative forms. The goal is to create conversations between diverse elements of a system to reevaluate relationships.
Using a diversity of mediums, I am constantly searching to create movement in my work, either with an evolutive aspect, serial or sequential, with a journey into the physical space of the work, or with technology and speed. With an aesthetic that can seem simple and naive, I underline the absurdity of certain subjects or situations to reveal they're troubling aspects.
Within the framework of specific projects with themes or during residency and events, I will be interested in the place of exhibition or residency, looking to enter in dialogue with its history, its community, and its mission.
