Bio et Démarche
Né en 1992 à Paris, Aurore Le Ludec est titulaire d’un Diplôme des métiers d’arts en réalisation de costume de l’École des métiers d’art de la mode et du spectacle Paul Poiret et d’un Master 2 de recherche-création en art et création internationale de l’École des arts de la Sorbonne. Elle a également obtenu une certification en techniques d’impression textile et en teinture végétale aux ateliers Beaux-arts.
Son parcours artistique théorique est marqué par une exploration profonde de la relation entre le textile, le corps et l'expression de son intériorité. Aurore Le Ludec a développé un processus pictural grâce à une peinture textile utilisé dans l’artisanat qu’elle a ensuite mis en résonance avec sa matérialité corporel à travers des performances. Cette démarche performative lui a permis, non seulement de créer un lien organique avec ses médiums, mais également d’explorer une gestuelle picturale marquée par l’écoulement et l’absorption sur des superpositions de tissus. Pour Aurore Le Ludec, le tissu est plus qu'un simple matériau ; c'est un prolongement de sa propre peau, telle une seconde peau. La peinture textile et sa fluidité vont plutôt faire référence, de manière symbolique au fluides corporels. À travers ce qu’elle nomme des performances-picturales, chaque geste devient une forme de réappropriation de son corps par l’acte de peindre dans un faire-corps physique, psychique et émotionnel. Ces gestes picturaux interviennent comme un journal intime et transgénérationnel ouvert, qui donne à voir des effets esthétiques toujours plus vastes marqué par une vision vitaliste de la matérialité picturale.
L’exploration de la matérialité textile à travers l’apprentissage de techniques propre à l’artisanat textile tel que l’indigo, le shibori ou encore, le batik, est au coeur de son développement artistique et lui permet de donner à voir une singularité artistique néoexpressive qui évolue au fil des choix de ses matières, outils et techniques textiles.
Elle est également co-fondatrice avec Alice Mijanovic du festival « Cylcées », un festival pluridisciplinaire qui réunit des artistes autour de la thématique du cycle menstruel au sens large.
Son travail a été exposé à l’internationale dans le cadre de l’exposition « Traces » à la galerie Fais moi l’art à Montréal, dans le cadre de l’exposition « ROE 2.0- It Ain’t Over Cet! » à la Women made Gallery à Chicago, lors de la « Women in art fair » de Londres aux Mall Galleries et sera prochainement présenté à la Galerie Artivistas à Paris.

Born in 1992 in Paris, Aurore Le Ludec holds a Diploma of Arts and Crafts in Costume Making from the Paul Poiret School of Fashion and Performing Arts, as well as a Master’s degree in Research-Creation in Art and International Creation from the School of Arts of the Sorbonne. She has also obtained a certification in textile printing techniques and plant dyeing from the Beaux-Arts workshops.
Her theoretical artistic journey is marked by a deep exploration of the relationship between textiles, the body, and the expression of her interiority. Aurore Le Ludec has developed a pictorial process using textile painting commonly employed in craftsmanship, which she then resonated with her bodily materiality through performances. This performative approach has allowed her not only to create an organic link with her mediums but also to explore a pictorial gesture characterized by flow and absorption on layers of fabrics. For Aurore Le Ludec, the fabric is more than just a material; it is an extension of her own skin, like a second skin. Textile painting and its fluidity symbolically refer to bodily fluids. Through what she calls pictorial-performances, each gesture becomes a form of reappropriation of her body through the act of painting in a physical, psychic, and emotional embodiment. These pictorial gestures act as an open intimate and transgenerational diary, showcasing ever-expanding aesthetic effects marked by a vitalistic vision of pictorial materiality.
The exploration of textile materiality through the learning of techniques specific to textile craftsmanship, such as indigo, shibori, and batik, is at the heart of her artistic development and allows her to showcase a neo-expressive artistic uniqueness that evolves with her choices of materials, tools, and textile techniques.
She is also the co-founder, along with Alice Mijanovic, of the "Cylcées" festival, a multidisciplinary festival that brings together artists around the theme of the menstrual cycle in a broad sense.
Her work has been exhibited internationally as part of the "Traces" exhibition at the Fais-moi l'art gallery in Montreal, the "ROE 2.0 - It Ain't Over Yet!" exhibition at the Women Made Gallery in Chicago, during the "Women in Art Fair" in London at the Mall Galleries, and will soon be presented at the Artivistas Gallery in Paris.
